2. Lee Chong Wei
Born on October 21, 1982 in Bagan Serai, Malaysia. He is a men’s singles professional badminton player from Malaysia. Lee, who won a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, earned him the title ‘Datuk’ because he was considered a national hero of Malaysia, where Malaysia has not won another medal since the 2006 Olympics.
Lee was named the best men’s single streaming badminton player in the world by BWF for the third time in a row. And he also got the Datuk title from the Kingdom of Malaysia because of the achievements he got. Among his prestigious achievements were the All England, the Indonesia Open, the Asian Badminton Championship and the silver medal at the Beijing Olympics.
